Arrival in Budapest E-mail

Budapest (Ferihegy) International Airport is 24km (15 miles) south-east of the city centre. It has two terminals, Terminal 1 is for low-cost airlines and Terminal 2 is divided into two, Terminal 2A is the departure and arrival point for Malév (Hungarian Airline) flights and Terminal 2B hosting all international carriers' flights, including some of the budget airlines.

Getting into town:

Bus rental:

You can rent a bus from Adrenalinebomb. Our guide and a bus will wait for you at arrivals. If you want you can order some special entertainment that you can enjoy on your way to the hotel. For more info please click on Airport transfer

Limousine and Hummer rental:

You can start the stag weekend with a real taste of luxury. And if the Hummer or Limousine are not flashy or exciting enough for the stag or for the group then spice it up with some “cheeky” entertainment that you can enjoy until you arrive at the hotel.

Airport minibus:

As with most airports, Ferihegy has a ‘shuttle service' called ‘Airport Minibus'. Customers can purchase tickets at the Airport Minibus counter in the Arrivals Hall. The waiting time can be as long as 30 minutes.

Taxi:

The price depends on the distance. You may have to wait to get a taxi and in the case of a busy airport and large groups it can be quite a wait.

Public transport:

This is the cheapest option, but not the easiest. You have to take the BKV Plusz reptér busz that takes you to a metro station (20 min. from the airport). From here you can get to the city centre with the Metro (25 min.). After, you have to find your own way and the appropriate public transport to get to your hotel.
